I am a veteran flight instructor of 30 years.  It has been an honor to train the next generation of pilots!  However, the aviation industry is currently being torn to pieces right in front of us!  Sadly, no one is speaking up for our new pilots and mechanics. ​ With the tragic accident in 2019 with my personal friend, a Captain Jerome Renck, the FAA has embraced a new policy of going after CFI’s based upon their pass rates.  Instructors are targeted if they fall below a 70% pass rate on first attempts on check rides, but the FAA has the check ride examiners have at least a 35% failure rate.  Then the insurance companies are requiring a 1000 flight hours for co-pilots! ​ The next generation of pilots have no chance!  This will shut down the airlines that can ONLY hire pilots who have 1500 flight hours! ​ Please join the fight to change these policies before the collapse of our aviation industry.
